Farm Fire Sunday, September 5, 2010
A 5 acre fire started from a campfire that "had water poured all over it". About 3 hours later, high winds had rekindled the fire from embers and spread it to the surrounding grass. The large brush pile left over from OERB work became involved in the fire. Damage was restricted to the grass, there were no injuries. Always make sure your campfires are DEAD OUT. There are 5 gallon buckets at the farm to pout lakewater on all fires.
